Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck and the defense of the German East African colony

Abstract
Von Lettow and the defense of the German colony of East Africa have become a myth in the study of the colonial war in Africa. The prowess of this fact was the small number of troops that Von Lettow had compared to the numerous Allied deployment. Despite the situation, the German general knew how to take control of the war and retain the largest number of British forces on African soil.
The development and analysis of this colonial war involves a complicated mosaic in which it is necessary to analyze various factors.
