Abstract
The present work tries to make an analysis of the military strategies carried out by Hernán Cortés and the Spanish-indigenous troops to achieve the siege of Tenochtitlan. Based on Hispanic and indigenous literary sources and narratives and under the analysis models of modern Military History, we will try to understand the various military factors that allowed the operation of the siege by land, along the roads and in relation to the naval operations of the twelve brigs that allowed the final fall of Mexico-Tenochtitlan.
