Abstract

This critical review shows the axes of the book in which Professor Manuel Carmona exposes the relevance of the thought of two great Spanish philosophers (Ortega and Marías) in order to interpret some of the fundamental problems of the contemporary world. An outstanding disciple, Carmona finds the place for hope, commitment, and resistance to discouragement that human beings need to face the phenomenal challenges of the present time.
