Francisca Moya Alcañiz holds a PhD in History. Her line of research has focused on Franco's repression from a gender perspective. In 2016 she read her doctoral thesis at the UNED, entitled "Republicanas condenadas a muerte: Analogías y diferencias territoriales y de género (1936-1945)", for which she received the extraordinary doctoral prize. She is the author of the book Que vuestro nombre no se olvide. Mujeres condenadas a muerte en los consejos de guerra franquistas (1936-1945), published by Comares Historia, 2023. At the same time, she has carried out studies on gender and the workers' movement in the financial sector, as well as on the exile of Republican women and, within the field of the history of written culture, the epistolary genre as a source of history. He has published articles and presented papers on these subjects at numerous national and international conferences.
