Abstract

The article reviews the most current scientific theories on the Everything, in order to show how far current teaching, in compulsory cycles, is from the demand of Comenius, the father of didactics, that teaching should deal with ‘the foundations, causes and goals of the most important things that exist and occur’. This calls for a radical reform of curricula. The article reviews the theories of Kulakov and his disciples, Garrett Lisi, Xiao-Gang Wen, Korompilias, Pitkänen, Oppenheim and Ashtekar and his disciples, more recent examples of Theories of Everything, and shows how their foundations are incomprehensible in current curriculum designs.
