Abstract

In order to analyze the recent memorial novel by the Ecuadorian writer Raúl Vallejo (Manta, 1959), it is necessary to consider the particular narrative turn that the text of the manuscript contained in an old colonial chronicle gives to his story by turning the text of the manuscript contained in an old colonial chronicle into a participatory annotator of new incidents made up of different scribes that incorporate tragic events from the republican history of Ecuador to turn it into an open and cumulative testimony of a critical-rebellious nature. The conclusion reached from such a reading is that in the face of a cyborg meta-discourse of power provoked by the techno-epistemic turn that accompanies cybernetics, it is to be expected that, from the fusion of such hypertexts with the interaction between Artificial Intelligence and critical discourse, new modalities of aesthetic expression may emerge. scientific and political as intercivilizational alternatives that demand the new polycentric directions that emerge in globality.
