Abstract
Luchino Visconti's cultural influences ranged from the scenographic approaches of the modern era and the world of archaeological narratives to the conceptual itinerary of the Grand Tour. This process shaped and defined the personality of a multifaceted artist, in which his vision of the garden was crucial, reflecting its emotional character in both its possible senses: whether representing an Apollonian ideal or a Dionysian cathartic dimension.References
