Ciudad Esmeralda. Revista de Estudios sobre Literatura Infantil y Juvenil

Ciudad Esmeralda. Revista de Estudios sobre Literatura Infantil y Juvenil is an interdisciplinary, continuous article publishing journal edited by the Publications Service of Rey Juan Carlos University. This journal was founded with the aim of becoming a national and international benchmark for children's and young adult literature in its many forms and media (novels, plays, poetry, comics, illustrated albums, etc.) and its teaching, as well as other related and interrelated areas. In this sense, the project has a strong interdisciplinary character and its areas of scope involve the intersection or non-intersection of different branches of the humanities and social sciences: teaching, philology, psychology, and literary theory. The works received are expected to reflect on comparative dialogue, including theoretical or problematic considerations, case studies, etc. In any case, the aim is to vindicate the value of children's and young adult literature in its many forms and formats.
