About the Journal

Neomedieval publishes original research papers and bibliographic reviews that reflect theoretically or analyse works in which the reception and construction of the medieval imagination based on its uses, functions and effects are particularly relevant.

Target audience

Neomedieval is a publication that accepts research papers from a wide variety of disciplines: philology, history, art history, philosophy, cultural studies, specific teaching methods, etc.

Language

The main languages of the Neomedieval journal are Spanish, Portuguese and English, although articles in other Romance languages are also accepted.

Statement of principles

Neomedieval advocates free access to its content as a means of promoting the universal exchange of knowledge. Users may therefore read, download, copy, modify and distribute the full text of all articles.

The journal does not charge any fees for publishing authors' research work, nor for access to reading, downloading and distributing it, whether of national or international origin.
