Guidelines for authors

Research articles must comply with MLA guidelines and be no longer than 30 pages (side margins and top and bottom margins must be 3 and 2.5 cm, respectively), using Times New Roman 12 (10 for footnotes, which should be kept to a minimum).

Manuscripts, which must be original and unpublished and must not have been submitted simultaneously to another journal (authors must complete a good practice form in this regard), must always be submitted via the URJC journals platform (“Submissions”). Articles will be accepted in any of the Romance languages and in English.

Manuscripts must be completely anonymised (should they be definitively accepted, authors may make any changes they deem appropriate in this regard) and must be preceded by a blank page stating: full name, academic qualification and position, affiliated institution, postal address, email address, contact telephone number and ORCID code. In addition, this blank page must also include an abstract (maximum 200 words) and keywords (maximum 5), with their English equivalents (abstract and keywords) if the paper is written in any Romance language; or in Spanish (resumen and palabras clave) if the paper is submitted in English. 

Reviews must be titled using the full reference of the work to which they refer, in accordance with MLA guidelines. The name of the reviewer must appear at the end, aligned to the right. Under no circumstances may they exceed 8 pages in length, and they must not include a bibliography or footnotes. Their format must be the same as that described for research articles.
